ReplyDeleteLooking at this piece/sticker, I can quickly read it as a cat, but when I look at the face I see something that does not remind me of an animal. I do not know what the message is IF there is a message, but I enjoy looking at it- especially because of the background that it is pasted on. I will say that the black and white combo in this whole picture is a little bit confusing to navigate, but after one second I realized where your vinyl was. Is the cat wearing a mask? Or does it have no mouth? It is a very interesting read.

I love the location of this sticker, because the black vinyl fits right in with this preexisting graffiti, creating a new combined piece. As Cerena mentioned, I can definitely read this as a cat, although it looks like it may be wearing a medical mask? Or maybe I've just got Corona on the brain... I also love the sketchy, hand drawn style of the cat, awesome work! -Lilah
